What are some problems faced by old people in this society ?

Nowadays in the society , majority of the old people face difficult problems/difficulties . Some examples of the problems they face are unemployment , sent to old folks home by their children , and their health .
Firstly , majority of the old people are facing the problem of unemployment . Employers nowadays do not want to employ old people , as they are weak and slow , even though they have some experiences . They are so in a terrible state as they cannot even get a very simple job such as cleaner . Even cleaner vacancies were taken away by the mid the people in their 40s . Employers want their money given worthwhile , and that is why most of the employers do not want to hire old people .
Another problem that old people face is being sent to old folks home by their children . Their children each have to work , and majority of the children also have a family to support . Some of the old people's children's income are low , and they will need to spend more time on work . That is one reason why they send their parents to old folks home . The other reason is that the old people's children thinks that they are very irritating / and eyesore . The old people's children want their homes to be quiet , but if their parents are with them , they will disrupt them and the children will start to think of their parents being troublesome . The old people's children want their privacy , and that is why they send their parents to old folks home .
Lastly , old people are facing health problems . Since they are old , their bodies' immune system would not be working well . When their immune system is not working well , illness will start to infect them . Lots of old people died because of different kinds of illnesses , and that that is why old people are scared of being ill , leading to a problem faced .
In my opinion , I think that people in the society should help the old people as much as they can , as the old people's lives are getting shorter . We should help them as much as we can , so that they would not have any regrets and rest in peace .

The problem face by the old people were getting rob by young people in the lift or walking alone under the block...those people will choose to rob only on old people because old people they do not have any resistance toward young while they have more strength then the old people...other then this problem the old people also face jobless in this society...they think that old people will took more leave , MC's and overdue their work...

In my opinion, i think there are many old people in their 60s or older are in a deep diffculities in finicial assistance or family problem. There are many old people are dummed to the old folks home by their children . Or their their saving was spent by their grandchildren or their children. i guess our government must solve this problem...

In some people's view,old folks are just a burden to them.They would prefer the old folks to be sent to the home than have to pay hundreds over for the check-ups.They find it easier for them to stay at the home as their health and foods are taken care by the nurses and volunteers.By what I've heard,some of the families doesn't want to take care of their parents as they don't want them to "disturb" their life or easy said as doesn't exist in their life anymore.

Other than that,old folks faced a problem named as robbery.They are the prey for those predators who are eyeing on their jewellery which is around the neck or maybe around their wrist.It can happen anywhere but mostly happen in the lift.These predators aim on the old folks as they knows that the old folks are unable to fight them back as they are more weaker than them.

In my own opinion, the main problem faced by the old people in this society is on their jobs..

Because firstly, this society usually do not employ the elders because they felt that they were old and could not do things as well as the youngs. Plus, alot of them felt that they were old and could not complete tasks that were given to them.

Just because they were old, they were discriminated against and not employed. the society should judge them by their abilities and not by their ages.

In my opinion , old people have to faced many different kind of problem in the society.
When a person is old many illness started to bother them , they cant really
do anything to the society so when they go out to look for job to earn a living ,
no one will wanted to hire them and the old people in the society will all be left jobless.
Some old people will be send to old folks home till to some personal problem.
and the olds will feel that they were left aside by the family and will no longer feel

In my opinion, i think that old people faced alot of problems in society:
Firstly, the society do not employ old people as they might be old or clumsy in doing work, thus they are not employed, resulting to jobless stituation and have no money to spend.
Secondly, they are neglected by their family and sent to old folks home, then they do not have as much freedom as other, thus they are 'trapped' in there.
Thirdly, when you grow old, many illness tends to occur, resulting to spend a whole sum of money on medical fees.If they do not have income or children supporting them, they would be in financial crisis.

Now days robbers like to steal from the old because they can't run really well and their children sometimes will find they annoying and send them to the old folks home,they also cant work because they are old, when they are old, most of the emoployes won't let them work so this are the problems that the old people are facing now

Problem by the old people in the society is being neglect by their own children , easy target by robber and no job thus link to no money ! Old people was send to the old folks home or they will live alone in old houses cause their children don't want them to live with them as they think that their own parent is troublesome. they are easy target by robber as they are very weak, these people don't not have any pity for them. lastly, they are too old and too weak to work so they are unable to afford their medical bills.

In our society , old people faced difficulties such as being neglected by their children , abuse that can lead to depression , unemployment and also an easy target for robberies . Elderly nowdays are often being neglected by their own children as some adults think that they are a nuisance at home , thus their children will place them in nursing homes to get excellent care and attention for them . Besides the elderly being a nuisance at home , adults think that taking care of the elderly are difficult , so the best way to get away from their responsibilities is to place them in nursing homes . However , not all nursing homes can provide excellent care for the elderly , often understaffed with underpaid and poorly trained employees , some nursing homes may endanger the lives of their patients . Its unfair for the elderly who are being placed in nursing homes , some even miss their children or grandchildren which can lead to depression .

I encountered a website stating that most elderly face clinical depression . The likely reason for having depression is the effects of multiple illnesses and the medicine they use to treat the elderly . Most common elderly face depression as they loss their social support systems due to death of their spouse or siblings , retirement , or relocation of residence . Depression in elderly tends to last longer and that could lead them to various illnesses such as cardiac diseases or even death as their health deteriotes , some even could lead to suicide .

The elderly are having a tough time finding employment because companies would rather hire younger workers who are more efficient then the elderly who are weak and slow . More senior citizens want to continue work these days with increasing life expectancy over the years so they could enjoy certain privileges as the society has improved medical services , but for some , they need to earn extra allowance as their savings are not enough to support their livelihood .

Besides being neglected , abused , threatened , elderly may suffer physically and emotionally , so we need to help them whenever they are in need .

As my own opinion, they may face alot of difficulty in the outside world. Because the boss may want some person who can work faster than other, so the old people may loss out on their job.

But for what i think for the old people i feel sad for them because they also a human and need to survive in the society. So they need people to accompany them to make them feel happy and not being lonely in the society.

But for some son and daughter, they may not want to take care of the parent and bring them to the old fork home and feel really sad for them.Being old people, other don't really put them in their shoes and they may be lonely.
